Program Resources and Student Capacity Policy
 

At its May 2024 meeting, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) reviewed revisions to the “Program Resources and Student Capacity” policy and Application for Increasing Class Size proposed by the COA’s Standards and Policies Committee. The proposed revisions were made in order to comply with U.S. Department of Education guidelines and impact the COA’s procedures for monitoring and approving programs’ increases in class size. If approved, the proposed policy and application revisions will change the circumstances in which programs are required to seek approval for increases in first-year student enrollment.
 
Copies of the revised policy and application have been posted to the COA website and emailed to the COA’s community of interest for comment. Please review the policy and submit your comments using the survey below. Please note that the confidentiality of individual survey responses will be maintained; the results of the survey will be presented for COA review in aggregate. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
